Nah. I mean, they're freaky, but not terrifying. But I find that Moffat in general is quite good at providing all-in-good-fun thrills and chills that fuck with your head and make you side-eye random statues, but aren't actually disturbing.

Now 'Father's Day' on the other hand, that reached right into the back of my brain and grabbed a handful of existential terrors and yanked.

But I find that Moffat in general is quite good at providing all-in-good-fun thrills and chills that fuck with your head and make you side-eye random statues, but aren't actually disturbing.

This is how I feel about most of his things, too. I find many of his monsters (including the silence) super creepy in concept (You forgot they're there! Don't blink! etc.) and effectively done when watching, but they don't stick with me ore give me nightmares. (Which, you know, I'm totally fine with.)
