Urgh. I used to love The Wild Thornberries, and Eliza Thornberry was exactly like me in many, many, many ways (physically, emotionally, personality, yadda yadda yadda), which was apparently obvious to everyone except my mother. Hence, as we were watching an episode together as a family, my mother sees fit to explain that she likes the programme and that "poor, ugly little girl". O_O wut

She then goes into full "What? What did I say?" mode because everyone is just staring at her. Dear God.
