Of course, that's a given, given that we only saw very little (and Chiyo, Sakaki, and Osaka took up a lot of the spotlight), but . . . it was the little things. Like how Yomi would let Tomo crawl in through her window, and this seemed perfectly normal. How they'd just sit together in near silence, Yomi doing her homework and Tomo on her bed, listening to the radio and just occasionally making comments. Tomo could see right through Yomi, and vice versa. Yomi badgered Tomo just as much as Tomo badgered her, and also had a prankster side to her as well (remember the Osaka spicy food incident?). As much as she grumbled about it, Yomi always let Tomo copy her homework, helped her out when she needed it (like when she let Tomo share her umbrella), and often put up with Tomo's antics despite her annoyance. In fact, I'd even go so far to say that some of her exaggerated annoyance was her way of playing along.
Basically, Yomi was the Kyon to Tomo's Haruhi. She complained all the time, but if Tomo ever actually left, or if something happened to her, Yomi would be the first one to either drag her stupid ass back or kick the ass of whoever or whatever hurt her. Period.
(At least, that's how I always saw it, anyway.)

1. Apologise out of the blue to my friend for any annoying of late
or 2. Try to keep an eye out for when I am being too annoying and stamp it in the bud
3. learn to focus
