"EVERYONE"? Dude, most people are jumping onto the tail end of the "River Song is Badass" train now, look in the right parts of fandom.

I want to be River when I grow up, and I love Amy at the same time. Moffat's new companion teams are the happiest I've been with the TARDIS crew in a long time.

OMG yes! Remember all the "Ugh unless River turns out to be the Master/Jack/the Rani, I'm never going to like her" nonsense? Suddenly River is becoming a fandom sweetheart and she hasn't change a bit.

And this is from someone who's loved her since her first appearance on the show.

I know, right? I've liked her since she was first introduced, and haven't understood the massive amounts of hate. I'm sitting comfortably in the first class of the "River Song is Badass" train and laughing at the people struggling to catch the caboose. (terrible analogy, but I'm having fun imagining it)

I think it might be the dynamic with Eleven, honestly; I loved her in the Library, but Alex and Matt seem to have a lot more fun together.
