It wasn't just the kiss. Really, it was the stuff that came afterward that hardly seemed like impulsively acting out his feelings, but came off as kind of sadistic. Karofsky's bullying took on some creepily sexual overtones after the kiss, most notably the wedding cake topper scene in "Furt".
