Yeah, I wish there weren't so many floating around, it's funny now and again but not every day, multiple times. And I do agree, that most people don't know how to use them. Not sure why you think it's mathematically inclined people mocking those who aren't, I've always considered myself stronger in language arts and I still get a kick out of them.

What I meant was: I feel that people who don't know how to use Venn diagrams/graphs/etc but still attempt to use them for humorous purposes are giving us (i.e. non-science-inclined sorts) a bad name, as it were. I certainly enjoy humorous Venn diagrams/graphs/etc when they're used accurately.

1. I didn't know mocking non-math/science types was a thing. Now that I know, I'll commence mocking (or--probably not). But I feel like I'm in the minority, and some English inclined person is going to jump on me with grammar rules (I switched schools before we 'learned grammar' at my old school and after they learned it at my new school, so--). It's probably just my fandoms or my own paranoia, but. (Was that ending a sentence with a preposition? WAS IT?)

2. And, honestly, despite being a science type, I'm biological sciences, and haven't used Venn diagrams for anything to do with my degree that I can think of. If someone messes one up, I just assume they're dumb. Don't know if that's better or worse.

As a maths nerd, I fully support the propagation of graphs and charts. But only if they're properly presented. Label those axes, damnit! Where's the title? Include a legend!
