I feel like every Christian needs to read Lamb at least once.

I read it all the time! I first read it when I was really struggling to reconcile the Christianity I was raised with and the Christianity practiced by the hateful, the intolerant, and the cruel. Lamb gave me my faith back. The Jesus I was taught to love and strive to be like is more like Josh, who laughs and drinks and has a place in his heart even for the dumbfucks. I know him, I don't know who the other kind of Christian is following.
