I wish that bullshit would just die already, it's not like I have anything against it (aside from thinking it's shitty, which is just my opinion and it's fine if other people like it), but it doesn't need to be invading every single facet of every single fucking fandom I have.

pretty much. the only thing I've seen "invading" is people making ponies out of characters from other things... but that was happening before this show, iirc.
