Yeah, how dare people enjoy something that you dislike... in public?? I mean. No one wants to see all that squeeing!! Everyone should just keep their happiness to themselves... unless, of course, they're squeeing over the same thing as you.

FTR, I don't care for the series either, but this attitude pisses me off.

I think something gets lost in expressing this opinion, and that is that it isn't that everyone likes it, but OP feels left out. It really sucks when you have nothing in common with something EVERYONE but you likes, and that's all they talk about, and you grasp for common straws but there's nothing. :(

Your experience may vary, but I get what they mean.
