If he's a troll, he does have his points however.

I think he's just not afraid to speak his opinion. It's an unlikeable opinion, but a valid opinion nonetheless. Certainly makes more sense than Westboro, and I'm just talking from a rational POV. I certainly know people who express those same beliefs, though, so yeah.

Westboro are the "God hates fags" people. The ones that protest soldiers' funerals or whatever, because they think that God is punishing the United States for being slightly more tolerant of homosexuals lately than we've historically been.

Anyway, I think that people who preach their beliefs are annoying as hell, whether they are atheists, theists, Christians, whatever.

Thank you! I don't understand the hate, I read his book and was surprised how nice he was about religion. I started reading it with such low expectations thanks to a christian friend who ripped him to shreds and was pleasantly surprised.

IMHO the only people who would have problems with him are the religous people who are waivering in their faith, if they really genuinely had faith they wouldn't care what he said.

Really? I watched his interview on George Stroumboulopoulos, and he came off to me as a pretty blunt but very likeable guy.

I've read one of his books, The Selfish Gene, and I seriously felt like I was being trolled the entire time haha. Maybe his others aren't as bad but that one definitely made me go o.O wtf is he talking about??
