I was just talking to my husband yesterday about how I don't get it when people say they want the Doctor to come take them away in the Tardis or wtfever. I mean, escapism is fun for an hour or two, but then you've got your real life to go back to. And if you don't like your real life, change that shit. Sorry if that comes across harsh, I don't mean it that way. I just think everyone deserves to be happy with their real life.

Also, just speaking for myself, I would never want to sleep in scuzzy motel rooms that are probably crawling with bedbugs. Plus, I'm a vegetarian so I don't know what the hell I'd find to eat in one of those roadside diners.
