Let me preface this by saying I'm on a buttload of painkillers from having a wisdom tooth pulled, so take what I say with a grain of salt.

If porn awards can award for anything other than hotness (which they do: feminist perspective, technical, soundtrack, writing, etc.) then there is no reason you can't enjoy something for the skill that went into making it.

Well written/drawn porn has artistic merit (or it's crap). Comment on that. Good luck, and I hope your friends aren't dicks.
