AGREED. I read the whole series and then didn't even know who the hell he was when I tried to get into the fandom. :[ It wasn't until someone asked about him and had someone else point out that he was in 10 whole pages that I figured out who he was. (And I still had to go back and read over and over again just to find him.)

13. While I understand where this secret is coming from, it also reminds of all the other 'why should all male characters be bishuen?' complaints posted here. I think it's kinda stupid to expect otherwise, no offense. People just tend to like things that are pretty to look at, then at the more realistic, rough, for lack of a better word, things. I mean, you're looking at a person whose in love with anime/manga boys, yet can't actually find one in real life who even classifies as 'Cute' or 'Cool'(and this includes actors and the like)

5. Oh my god YES. X_x I get annoyed sometimes at adaptations but I know I can always watch/read/play the original if I ever felt like it. Half the time, the changes are necessary because if it stayed true to the anime/game/manga, it would make no sense or make it too damn long or something.

I feel the same way about dubs/subs. Don't like it? DON'T FUCKING WATCH IT. THE ORIGINAL IS THERE FOR YOU! DX IT'S OK. IT WON'T VAPORIZE OUT OF EXISTENCE.

Bishoujo scares me as well, mostly because it is so unproportionate and unrealistic. LOLOLOLOLLLLOLOLOLOLOL X3 EYE WIDTH
A lot of times that's stylistic.

Haven't you heard? Japan lost its originality in animation long ago D=
So has every other genre on the face of earth! There are certain trends in Japanese art, just like in American art, an every art ever.

Don't get me wrong, I'd like for more variety in character designs, but there are some things that are cultural that one should accept. It's no more scary than lots of cartoon characters only having four fingers.
