I don't know about anyone else, but I like him because he's absolutely adorable in the comics. If you don't understand, I'd suggest tracking down the recent Batgirl issue he appeared in. It's pretty hilarious.

Also, the whole "Sins of the Youth" megacrossover from the 90s was pretty great--
"Call me Klarion the BUM BUM BUM Witchboy."
"I'm not adding a musical sting to your name."
