I'm pretty sure you've NEVER read anything with him in it, have you?
You just dislike the Young Justice version of him, which is understandable, but he's pretty much nothing like that in his comics. He's AAAADORABLE in his self titled series.

If OP is in the Young Justice cartoon fandom, why should OP care about the other version? It seems to me that if you're reading or writing a YJ cartoon fic you'd be using YJ cartoon characterization.

Yeah but YJ is pretty shit at characterization for pre much everyone :/
It'd be a shame to judge some really good characters based on their shitty portrayal in YJ.

I have read the comics, actually. And before watching Young Justice, too.

While I don't *hate* him like I do in the show, I'm not fond of him in the comics, either. I don't know what it is, but I'm just not liking him, and I don't find him to be adorable at all. :/
