Ah! I've never seen either series I'm just like "Oh, irritating character design - must avoid!!"

Mine was Sailor Moon but I watched one episode of .hack//SIGN and I heard the music and I was hooked. ¦D

I liked the character designs for Mai-HiME/Otome. Apart from Nina's weird DAGGER THING in the middle of her forehead and TOMOE OBVIOUSLY BECAUSE OH MY GOD SORT THAT SHIT OUT YOU DISGUSTING RAPIST

Unless you're talking about Haibane Renmei/Serial Experiments Lain, in which... I loved the designs for the former, l-lol.

I can't even remember Sailor Moon properly anymore. :(
