The secret is for Toki o Kakeru Shoujo/The Girl Who Leapt Through Time, FYI. I don't remember it that well, but it's a lovely movie.

Yeah, the point was that she was being dumb and selfish, and it eventually came back to bite her in the ass when time started getting fucked up.

Anyway, in your case you just have to tell him you don't feel the same way. It will be better for everyone.

I made a similar comment here years ago and everyone jumped on my ass about it. Glad to see I'm not the only one who thought her character was annoying and that she got what she deserved (and I don't mean that in a malicious way, I think she was better for the experience in the end).

Well, I didn't find her annoying, I found her fuck-ups very relatable. Either way, it was nice to see her grow from the experience.

I thought it worked really well, because it made her human -- it showed that she has flaws just like everyone else, and as a result it fucked things up for her. She created consequences that she couldn't erase.

Either way, I love that there's a secret for this movie, because I loved this movie.
