I believe they're discussing this interview:

http://news.scotsman.com/doctorwho/Time-Lad-scores-with-sex.2535185.jp

I'm sure he's given a more recent interview that was rather sexist including comments about Amy, but my googlefu isn't helping

Here's a choice quote from the above interview for the linkphobic:

"There’s this issue you’re not allowed to discuss: that women are needy. Men can go for longer, more happily, without women. That’s the truth. We don’t, as little boys, play at being married - we try to avoid it for as long as possible. Meanwhile women are out there hunting for husbands."

Yep, all women want to ensnare men, amirite?

What the fuck?

Something about me just loves that URL

TIME LAD SCORES WITH SEX.

me too, man. I'm not clicking on it cause I don't feel like raging today, but I did seriously lol when I read it.

uh... i kinda... don't believe that.

Moffat's twitter comment on that one interview:

Just pointing this one out.

(Anonymous) 2011-06-04 01:20 am (UTC)(link)
Yeah, no, I don't believe that at all, seeing as he's enforced those comments OVER AND OVER with his various comments about female characters and his whole 'dumpy' comments about Karen Gillan. Sorry, Moffat, but you aren't fooling shit.

(Anonymous) 2011-06-04 01:24 am (UTC)(link)
What are these 'dumpy' comments?

Yes, that's why the world has more old(er), happy widows than old, happy widowers.

(Anonymous) 2011-06-04 12:06 pm (UTC)(link)
That's because women in general live longer than men...

(Anonymous) 2011-07-09 05:16 am (UTC)(link)
No, actually it's because women have stronger social supports and larger social networks than men. Widowers tend to be less happy because they're main social relationships were through their wives, whereas women can make friends, maintain contact with family, etc. all by themselves.
