Yeah. Season 4...it tried to be more like Heroes started out as and was meant to be. There was a new big bad who, in some ways, wasn't a "baddie." He ran a carnival that housed people who were all different and had powers. It became a safe haven for them. And over all, it wasn't a bad place to live. But he kind of reminded me of a much more...charming and manipulative version of Magneto and he had some plans that involved giving them all a better place to live, but he did pretty much ANYTHING to give them that. Though, unlike Magneto (well, i guess depending teh version of him) Samuel (forgot his name, had to wiki it) would kill anyone, even those with powers, to bring out his plans. Though, I think he balked at hurting innocents...too much. There were exceptions.

Sylar was still around and he kind of had this crisis in consciounce so he was kind of flip flopping through out the season, though he was still Sylar.

Um...Hiro was dying due to his powers, so he was trying to right his wrongs throughout the season, which, I thought was kind of good. Poor guy.

A new character was introduced who I think had potential, and that was Emma, who I mentioned in my other comment. Except I didn't like that she seemed to be a love interest for PETER as opposed to Hiro. >> They did resolve some stuff with Charlie (as that was a mistake Hiro went to fix) and that got sad since she ended up getting sent to like the 1940s and Hiro, I can't remember why, could not follow her to bring her back, so by the time he saw her again, she was an old woman. ;~;

Um...ugh, I'm rambling a lot and my explanations are probably not the best and may not rouse too much interest. ^^; Over all, season 4 may not have been as good as season 1, BUT, it was able to get that feel it had back then and kept the suspense up pretty well and I liked many of the new characters introduced who had all kinds of potential had they been able to continue on into a season 5.

And yeah, Mohinder got these weird bug like powers with super strength in season 3 and...I didn't mind him at first, but by then...he was SERIOUSLY getting on my nerves and I wish he'd just been axed before then. In season 3, I mostly just liked the really interesting dynamic Sylar and Claire ended up having (of course...it doesn't help that i kind of shipped them >>), but yeah. Oh, and I was SO glad Nathan died. I may not have hated him as much as Peter, but he was pretty close. B/ Urg.
