10. When I speak of a "muse," I'm usually referring directly to either a) my own ability to write, or b) a source of inspiration that gives me said ability. I'm not referring to some character that lives in my head or anything. The term "muse" just is a term that has come to associate with inspiration or creative ability outside of the traditional greek definition.

On the other hand, I could argue that I have specific muses, but it'd really not be true. They're not muses so much as characters that I've been developing for... around ten years! So of course I'm more inspired for them, and have a greater "muse" for that character.
