I love the idea, but the demons are completely different. Buffy demons don't shimmer. How would that change be explained?

Plus there's more of a black and white stance in Charmed of what's good and evil. They probably wouldn't have taken well to the Scoobies having two vampires and a werewolf on their team at one point. (Or their witch going evil)

But then you have Cole, and Piper's son (who we're taught to think might be evil in some ways before finding out everything) So I think it has some gray area's just...not AS gray as Buffy.

Indeed. They were actually going really well with Cole for awhile, but by his end they gave him the same annoying black/white, "You're a demon, you can never be good" treatment as they did for most everything else.

I completely agree, things were very decent with Cole for a while. It was almost a tolerance with his demon half and he did attempt on some levels to be good and that worked for them.

And then it just went suddenly to 'Demon = Bad all the time' which was a complete about face.
