it's probably just me but i get a weird vibe from all his lyrics. i know they're meant to be super romantic and such, but i can't help feel that if someone said any of those things to me in real life i'd feel incredibly... burdened? pressured? something like that.

To me it comes off as him saying that she's stupid in not believing him when he complements her and why should he bother complementing her at all. It's very nice-guy-ish and gives me a bad taste in my mouth.
