It's extreme to love EVERYONE, sooner or later, someone has gotta annoy you. It's human nature.

Like everyone I could maybe understand, not love.

Just because you're incapable of loving everyone doesn't mean everyone else is EXTREME for doing so.
It's a TV show. Some of us choose to enjoy all of it, and end up loving every character. In real life, there are annoying people of course, but these are all protagonists and honestly, I've never truly disliked any of them. Disliked one or two things about them yes, but you can still love someone when you don't like something about them.

Writers often don't want you to love certain characters though, Who is a bit different because it's campy so I can see people loving even the villains but there are still characters who are irritating.

And like I said, I could understand like, but LOVE is just a bit weird, I enjoy all of who, and I don't hate any character, but love is reserved for the special ones.

I guess basically agree to disagree, for me love is special and not for everyone.

You'd be surprised, anon. There are quite a few shows where, yes, I absolutely adore every. single. goddamn. character.

Maybe your hard is just a few sizes too small and can't handle all of the love. >:

Are those shows all like Doctor Who where we are talking generations upon generations of characters with generations and generations of different showrunners and writers? And in addition to those shows have books and audios that you've read and listened to?

I think loving characters from a show where there are maybe, 10 characters, is different then loving everyone on Doctor Who ever. Someone eventually has to come along that you don't love, it's just a statistics thing. That's kind of how my mind was taking in this secret.

Maybe not like... as many as Doctor Who? But for some reason I like a fair amount of animanga series that go on for decades and have 89240897e9r bazillion characters, and yes, I can think of three of them where I love if not every single character, then all of them with the exclusion of one or two.
