I don't really assume anything, if someone is a protagonist I will hope I like them (because shows can be hard to watch when you hate the hero.)

I don't think it's being negative to dislike a character, I think it's being a real person. It reminds me of this girl who constantly tried to pretend that she was god's gift to humanity by always being polite and pretending she loved everyone, but in reality she was super passive aggressive and we found out it was all just an act.

Plus I said above I can understand like, just not love. In the picture posted I do love a lot of those characters, but certainly not all of them (plus books plus audio etc), that doesn't mean I hate them, maybe they just aren't my favorite.

It's okay for you to not love every character, but from this and other comments, it looks like you're judging people who do love every character, or assuming they must be lying because "no one could LOVE them all." And that is not okay.

It's not so much judgment as trying to understand and wondering if maybe there is some exaggeration going on. My mind is very critical and likes to analyze, so I'm having trouble believing it from a statistical perspective.

Also, I'm basically being called a hateful person with a small heart for not liking every character ever. This is already a view in fandom I'm tired of dealing with, disliking a certain episode or a certain character does not make me a "hater" and doesn't change the other 5 billion things I love about Doctor Who.
