i agree so, so much. i was there last september and really fell in love with it. i've just started planning my next time!

TOWER OF TERROR LOVE <3

D: TAKE ME WITH YOU.

Last April, my mother made the mistake of paying for me and a friend to go for my 30th birthday.

We were talking about "next time" within ten minutes of first arriving at our resort (THE CONTEMPORARY OMGs). The entire week was bliss, and we began having withdrawal pains the day before we left.

By August, we were jonesing so bad we couldn't stand it, and by October, we'd practically bankrupted ourselves to pay to go back.

We went at the end of January, stayed at Port Orleans French Quarter, and if possible enjoyed ourselves even MORE.

We're both jonesing again and neither of us can afford to go again anytime soon. D:

I WANNA STAY AT THE CONTEMPORARY SO BADLY. we hopped in there to get the monorail and it was amazing, but it's a bit out of my price range at the moment.

we stayed at port orleans riverside and i adored it. i would love to stay at french quarter this time but my boyfriend has vetoed it in favour of coronado springs instead. hey, so long as i'm there, i'd stay anywhere!

i hope you get to go back in the not too distant future! this trip is going to cost me a bomb and i need to save for, erm, forever really, but it's so worth it.

OMGs the Contemporary is AMAZING. The only reason we were able to stay there was because my mom paid, and she worked herself near to death to save up the money because I didn't know how expensive it was really going to be until AFTER she'd already paid for it. X.x It was just... skjfbsdkfsdfnsd. Just superior in every way. (POFQ is beautiful, though, and we've decided that when we DO go back, that's our resort of choice from now on.)

My husband and I just stayed at POFQ for our honeymoon and we loved it to death. We were literally a minute from the bus stop and the room was so pretty and everything was just so classy. Our only qualm was that the buses for Hollywood Studios came really infrequently, both going there and coming back (the Friday night we were there, a good ~200 people were waiting for the Port Orleans bus in the pouring rain for an hour and a half. Things very nearly got ugly).

But he was the same way. It was his first time to Disney (my... sixth? I think?) and he was already talking about "the next time we come here...!" I think we have our hearts set on the Wilderness Lodge for that particular visit, though. We had dinner there at Artist Point and I have never seen a more beautiful hotel grounds.

Repeat visit to Disney are almost always better, since you don't get bogged down with the "OMG MUST DO EVERYTHING!" sense, and can instead pace yourself a bit better, since you have a better idea of what you like. I try to go once a year, and I'm so excited that this September we're going for the Halloween celebration -first time ever!

Also, I have an irrational fear of elevators, so Tower of Terror makes me shake uncontrolably...BUT I STILL GO ON IT EVERY TIME IT'S SO AMAZING! WHAT'S WRONG WITH ME? hahah!

Those park are amazing, though, just the attention to detail in every tiny bit blows my mind. Epic Mickey was fantastic for playing through the history of it. (It's qualities as a game aside - I loved it!)
