Oh wow. Yeah. That's no good at all. And is the other chick supposed to be Katana? And who is the chick with the full sleeve tatts? I wanna say Grace Choi but she was tatted all over and was MUCH bigger / more muscled. Also...is that Poison Ivy? What? Huh? Mind melt down.

it's katana, and I'm thinking the other two are rose and thorn. which would be weird, but not entirely unwelcome. (as opposed to barbara gordon going from oracle to batgirl, which is just .... no)

Okay Rose and Thorn. Got it, though I feel I've left my geek card lapse since I don't know who those are.

As to Barbara going back to being Batgirl...I'm on two minds. I'm interested to see how they 'fix' her legs but at the same time "The Killing Joke" was SUCH an iconic storyline I'll be mad if they retcon that in a dumb way.

I mean, it looks like she woke up, was in a hurry, and just through her boyfriend's shirt on to go fight crime instead of actually putting on real clothing. I mean, at least with her other outfit, there's a sense of "togetherness" about it, like "yes, I *did* choose to wear this" this out fit just seems... Forced? Rushed?

On the other hand, I think the new costume actually looks like armor, especially the design of the torso piece and the extra bits on the arms. I might be reading the "fishnets"/scale mail wrong, though, as I'm not really a Canary fan, so I haven't seen it in action.

I was just going to mention that costume.

I think the fishnets are being represented by some kind of armor (quilted Kevlar, maybe?)-- and I like the idea of it, but somehow in execution it doesn't send me. A little too busy, maybe? I can't quite put my finger on it.

I think it's the color scheme that's not working for me, because those two shades of blue and green always rub me the wrong way together. For someone named Black Canary, there's not a hell of a lot of black on that costume, y'know? But yeah, any time someone mentions bad costumes, several offenders from the JLI immediately spring to mind.
