Wonder Woman's first outfit was hardly that revealing. She was wearing shorts (http://www.uky.edu/Projects/Chemcomics/assets/images/ww_21_cov.jpg), for one thing.

Really, she's conservative compared to the pop stars that some people who consider themselves to be feminists on F!S consider paragons of female empowerment (not that I think someone can't be feminist if they wear skimpy clothing or listen to pop musicians who wear skimpy clothing -- quite the opposite, really)
