OP here - I wasn't trying to troll. I had no idea so many people would agree with me. Methinks I know too many folks with sticks up their asses, then, because I've never been able to talk about Jesus/Mary IRL without negative comments. Figures that a fandom community online would be more accepting, but still.

Only Jesus isn't exactly the same thing as God. He's God made flesh, sometimes also seen as "son of God", part of the trinity. Jesus, according to Bible lore, would have died at 33 and would have been seen as a Jewish rabbi by hiw contemporaries. And it would have been fairly unusual for a 33-year old rabbi not to have been married...
