Why can't they just be who they are?

Call me a bad girl but I rather like J Scott Campbell's work. Especially when Nei colors it. I'm not turned on by it. It's just aesthetically pleasing to me. Same for Michael Turner. Yes. I can admit they have faults, but I like what I like. I find comic book art far more appealing than whatever that is on the bottom.

The thing that annoys me about his work is that all his women have the same exact face. I'm not going to even get into the same exact body part of it because so many comic book artists do that.

Yeah, that gets to me too. He's a very talented artist, no doubt about that, but I kind of feel like I'm looking at pictures of one character dressed up in different costumes sometimes. It would be one thing if that's what he meant to do, but...yeah.

The big issues I have with J. Scott isn't just that his style is "sexy" and how that's wrong, his pin-ups are nice in their own way. It's when he draws other (well dresses his one character up as other) character that should not look that way. Look at his She-Hulk

And if your trying to launch a title of a female superhero team that appeals to a female audience, this is not how to do it

Not to mention there is being sexy, then there's just being objectified. There's posing, and then there, ouch

It'd be nice if his pinups stayed in his pinups, but his style goes over to his comics and influences other artists. It's like porn influencing film

Yeah the She-Hulk one is ugly. The other ones I don't see a problem with. I really wasn't asking people to try to convince me why it's "wrong." I know what others think. He's not my idol. (This is. (http://comicartcommunity.com/gallery/categories.php?cat_id=320)) I'm just fine with sexy art.

If J Scott Campbell drew like Scott Campbell they'd just hire someone else.

It really really bugs me how his clothes are like painted on, they go under the boobs. UGH THATS NOT HOW FABRIC WORKS D:

I agree about pinups staying pinups.
