I'm kind of in the same boat, anon. Except most of my LJ friends are my RL friends. I can understand fandom friends maybe not wanting to read about RL stuff, and I can understand RL people not wanting to read their friends' fic (especially if they're not fic-readers and are of the opinion that ALL FANFIC = PORN and they don't want to read the porn of someone they know). But after awhile when you look at your LJ page and realize fandom entries or RL entries or fic entries, and not an entry has a comment, it kind of gets to you after awhile. I don't really have any helpful advice to offer, just that you're not alone.
