I would agree with you if the point of wonder women's original costume was to sexualize her, but it's not. In fact, Wonder woman is the only super heroine I can think of (I will point out though that my superhero comic knowledge is not all that vast) that is sexy, but not sexualized. She's not just an object. And while her costume does show a lot of skin, she doesn't look like she belongs in a porn magazine, unlike most other superheroines I can think of.
