I'm more disappointed Watanuki's parents did not turn out to be the actual Sakura and Syaroan from CCS and instead the clone parents from TRC (I...think? TRC just confused the shit out of me no matter how many times I read it). Yeah yeah, the idea of CCS Sakura and Syaroan dead in the xxxHOLIC world is depressing, but damn it, I just like the idea that Watanuki is their kid. Would make the fact that he shares Clow Reed's appearance much more coherent. *shrugs*

I think the clone parents somehow ended up the actual Syaoran and Sakuras of their world, as the originals were both named "Tsubasa" (Sakura and Syaoran weren't their real names).
