I hear you, anon. I get flustered REALLY easily and it'd sometimes be nice to be 'not bovvered' like Lauren.

But the joke is that Lauren is clearly very 'bovvered', incredibly so. That's why it's funny, it's almost embarassing to watch this person so clearly bothered screech 'I'm not bovvered, not bovvered, not bovvered' while looking so uncomfortable and upset.

I don't know why anyone would want to actually handle things with as little grace and as much humiliation as Lauren does. The whole point is you're supposed to wince at her and feel bad because she's trying SO HARD to appear not bothered when she clearly is.

Well, right. I know that. But my main... point, I guess, is that it'd be nice to have something like 'not bovvered' to hide behind, whereas when I get nervous I just stammer and handle it poorly. I meant, with the quotes around 'not bovvered', that it'd be nice to have something to hide behind like that.

evidently I am so expressive that I am showing things I'm not even thinking or feeling.
kind of problematic. might make people not even like me. ? I dunno. I am not that social so maybe I haven't got enough feedback lately on how you're supposed to make your face be.

I was the exact same way. Everyone kept telling me to "stop looking at me like that" (apparently I was glaring at them something fierce), or "stop scowling" or "don't you twist your lip at me" and I was confused because I didn't even notice that I was doing it.

I honestly couldn't tell what expression was in my face. (Plus other things which led to me not being very social either, YANA.)

The solution was to practice in front of a mirror. I kept making faces and paying close attention to how they felt. I don't have perfect control yet either, but at least now I can tell what expression I'm making if I pay a little attention. I don't even need to super concentrate now.

It would be really nice to be "not bovvered" sometimes; I get upset really easily and sometimes it'd be nice just to shove it away in a back drawer, so to speak.

a few hours ago, I said to a friend of mine, and I quote

"i was thinking about my license and needing to get it and all that. and i've decided that when i try again, if i fail, my only response should be
