FFFFFFFFFF THANK YOU. Look, I'm all for Creepy McCreeperson as the next cat, but Loveless just hit so many of my damned squicks, ESPECIALLY Seimei and how his actions ultimately dictated Soubi's actions towards Ritsuka and and fffffffffffffffffff I couldn't enjoy it at all. :|

Sometimes one likes a good villain. Seimei is specially good at being a villain, too. He's quite interesting and well planned/written to the level of sometimes being triggery. He's a villain. That's his job.

But I'd never defend his actions or condone them. Don't put all the fans in the same sack, OP.

I... don't know if I could say that I like Seimei? Because he really is utterly repulsive, and his actions in recent chapters have actually made me physically ill.

But I'm fascinated by him. Maybe I just like the wrong things, but I've never seen a villain who was so completely evil, without any hope for redemption or "oh, he was really a good guy all along". And I'm fascinated by the way people close to him interact with him.

I guess... I don't like Seimei as a person. But as a character, he's utterly fascinating.

And that's why I'm a Seimei fan.

Seimei is gross. I used to like his character when all his bullshit wasn't yet clear to us, but the more we learned about him the grosser he became.

I'm a big fan of awful manipulative murderous creeps in fiction, but I just can't bring myself to like him. Not sure why that is.

I feel like his story was unfolded in such a way that he is a prime example of a well-done villain. He's horrible, absolutely disgusting, really, but a part of you still wants to love him the way Ritsuka loves him, you know? so I'm a fan of his character, but not really of him...does that make sense? probably not. eh.

Personally I like Seimei for being a well-written villain. Yes, he's a disgusting creep, but you're not supposed to like him, not as a person.

Also dude, Loveless is a really well written manga. It deserves more praise. It isn't its fault it got latched onto by crazy fangirls who only care about one aspect of the series.

I like Seimei as a villain because if I'm intensely angry or disgusted by a character I'm supposed to hate, I think that's a sign the author's done a good job. But how Seimei can have fans is beyond me. He is like the epitome of every squick on earth, why would anyone like him as a person?

I dunno, I consider myself a "fan" of Seimei to an extent, but only because I find him to be such a compelling character, not because I'm on board for his actions. He certainly does have that squicky edge to him, but I think that's a lot of the reason people like him in the first place. He's so well written he literally makes you squirm. He's a great character.
