...nor doth it sleep. I started reading fan fic and watching vids and the show like crazy after the show was over, precisely because I wanted what I did and involved myself in to be about the characters and their stories, rather than any (ANY) engagement with the actors or the production of it (that is, waiting for the next episode....wondering whether it would suck and so on). Not that I mind actors and whatnot, I'm very grateful to them for their involvement, and bringing the characters to life. But after Supernatural, and all (ALL) the HOOPLA about Jensen and Jared, I'm a little tired of the whole "IT's ALIVE" feeling to it, and can't wait for Supernatural to be over. But I'm falling in love with SGA more every day and I like that the fandom is mostly about the show, the characters, the stories, the fan fic, vids, drawings, and other fannish works. It's about the fans and fandom, right about now, and not being behind or in front of any velvet rope because you either do or do not have any connection with the actors.
