It's not like I'm unable to watch a show with a predominantly male cast. Hell, I love Red Dwarf for starters and it only started to suck when a woman was added to the main cast (though that's more to do with the type of show it was and how that just didn't work). But it's mainly shows with a lot of action where men do most of the fighting and heroic deeds while women are either damsels in distress or love interests (or both) that put me off a lot.
But hey; I love supernatural shows and good to know it doesn't take itself too seriously - something which I really would not have got from all the media and advertising with the whole "badass stoic manly men in leather and trenchcoats" imagery. Will teach me not to judge a book by its cover. ;)
