SP here. I just feel like saying amen to my own secret and commenting on how much prettier it looks in the secret lineup than I thought it would. A+ to the poster. I have been squeeing about it being up since it got posted. XD

I haven't really looked. I found a few torrents over at JPOPSUKI but there were no seeds, alas. So all I have is Ikue Asazaki. :)

I don't know of any sites other for JPOPSUKI. You can try googling 'Enka mp3' and maybe see if you can come across any forums?

Ah, AIM? I don't give that out publicly, sorry. -_-; Oh no, I love jpop and other genres of japanese music and korean music and chinese and such. :)

Thanks for the hint! I was thinking about looking at Jpopsuki, but I just hadn't tried yet. :D

That's okay. ^^ I totally understand that. I don't give out my Gmail or my MSN. XD But I do appreciate the info very much! You should definitely check out Subaru on YouTube. He's very talented, and if you can find one of the couple of enka performances that are up, you're in for a real treat from him AND Kanjani8. ^^

I more than tried calling them and such; and they all knew they weren't the only ones interested in keeping on meeting, we all even had exact days for the meetings. But nobody else ever bothered showing up.

It's not really about NaNo as much as it's about the antisocial idiots in my area, though.

I think no matter how it's worded someone's going to argue that it's directed to homosexuals, rather than -everyone-. But, I just wanted to say I scanned all the comments up until now to find someone who seemed to be on the same boat as me.

Honestly, the definition of yaoi and yuri being porn freaks me out a little, because it has become so commonly accepted as referring to malexmale, femalexfemale - people forget or don't realize that PORN is exactly what they stand for.

As I've read plenty of plot!fics labeled "yaoi" with no actual porn in it whatsoever, I was a little caught off guard to discover the actual meaning of the term - and wouldn't be surprised to see someone using the term appropriately treated as if they butchered it by people that don't realize what they meant.
I hope all of that made sense.

[/pointless rant.]

I won't argue that it isn't DIRECTED towards the RPers of homosexual relationships; they're clearly the ones being addressed. I just don't think it's being PREJUDICED against them. But you are right-- no matter how it's worded someone will find a way to get a bee in their bonnet over it.

I also think the thing about the definitions of yaoi and yuri is that one must consider linguistic evolution. It means homoerotica in Japanese. However, it's also been adopted into the English language to more frequently simply mean homosexual relationships from a Japanese source, such as anime, manga, doujinshi and video games-- whether there's actual sex or not. And if you're not careful, it's easy to suffer miscommunications with people. You don't ever really know who's using the terms with the original definition from Japan in mind and who's going with the broader definition that is integrating itself into Geek!English. It's not so much that either person is wrong in their definition, just that they're getting their definitions from different cultures.

And that may well be part of what's sprouted the whole conflict here *nod*

What? 19 makes sense to me. They don't want explicit sex posted, but gay romance is okay.

Unless this is from a forum that allows explicit het, in which case what the fuck +2.
