Scott and the Professor bring me a special kind of joy. I love them. XD

I don't care if people like Wing or Seed, or even if they like it better than the original. What bothers me is when they won't at least sit down and give the old one a proper chance simply because it's old.

I have tried to watch some of MSG, but I never got far into it because it didn't really hold my interest. I actually like a number of older anime (Yawara! ... does Hana Yori Dango count? It was '96 but I know people call its animation not very pretty.) and I do agree that judging based on age of it or lack of prettyboy animation alone is kinda :\. But I guess that kind of thing can and does play some part in pulling people into things these days.

If you actually sat down and tried watching it despite its age, then, yeah, that secret wasn't directed towards you by any means. xD

I guess it can't be helped that a lot of people place a lot of emphasis on the art style. I mean, not that there's anything wrong with things that are pretty. But I feel like something should be said for writing, too. It's one thing for someone to be like, "Well, the storyline and characters didn't do it for me," and another thing to be like, "Well, I think it looks too ugly."
