4. It's the exact opposite for me. The original Gundams bore me to death. I personally think the stories and characterizations in them were weak. I couldn't even finish 0079 because it failed to hold my interest. Sure, the newer ones use the same plots, but to me, they did them much better. Cut the "I'm a better fan" complex, please and stop telling people what to like or not like.

But, see, you actually sat down and watched it. I don't expect everyone to like UC stuff better. Just to actually sit down and give it a chance and say they've actually seen it. That's more than any of my Wing or Seed friends have ever done. Maybe "appreciate" was a poor word choice, but what I meant there was to acknowledge that their favorite series wouldn't be around without 0079 and to actually try watching some of it. If it's not your cup of tea, it's not your cup of tea. *shrugs*
