Yeah... this is weird, I was so sure it was one of the uber popular ones. Like, ok, maybe controversial, but... very popular nonetheless. Uh.

Anyway, you can still enjoy it... just be prepared for never knowing the ending, lol. Apparently, the authors left the fandom before finishing it.

This just proves what hypocrites the authors are. They became all sanctimonious over some questionable humor of the dub, calling it's fans anti-intellectuals and so on, while they write blatant rape and gore exploitation fic.

Check the discussion on the TVTropes page. THAT's why it became a wankbait. The authors and core fans being pretty arrogant and wanky about it didn't help.

really, REALLY old wank about a Hetalia darkfic about an alternate historical timeline that had its share of contreversial elements despite being well-written.
i'm still baffled that people bring this up when the authors left the fandom ages ago and the only wank related to it that is left is stupid grudgewank
