I don't have any reading disorders, and *I* found getting into Homestuck at this stage is difficult. I don't even understand the Wikia. I just wish there's some sort of summarising things out there to ease me into this really long and complicated canon.

Oh god, same. It just seems reeeeeally overcomplicated. And for a webcomic, it sure does do a lot of telling rather than showing. If I wanted to read chatlog after chatlog I'd read fic instead.

And that 'wasn't thinking' is kind of the problem.

If people would spend just a few seconds considering 'oh, people with disabilities might want to use this too' when designing their buildings/products/websites/etc the world would be a far more accessible place.

I'm fairly sure that there are troll text converters out there, although I'm not sure if they work troll to standard as well as standard to troll.

I've never used it but there's this script (http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/92288) which apparently gets rid of all the typing quirks.

Oh, I never thought about it, but it must be difficult to read for those with dyslexia. Sorry no one's translating it - although, it would be a huge feat for someone to start now, what with the amount of pages it's gotten up to.

I feel for you. I may not be dyslexic, but ESL, and some of the troll-scripts just don't 'translate' instinctively to words to me (Gamzee I am looking at you), making some of the logs a real pain to read =T

People on the fora made a script and translated troll speak for everyone! There's a list :D Go look for it, I'm fairly sure there's a sticky for it.

http://www.mspaforums.com/showthread.php?31244-Exhausted-from-Troll-Pesterlogs this thread has translations, as well as a Firefox plugin that will translate the text when you mouseover it, I think.
