I like Gaiman OK (and I love Pratchett) but I got bored halfway through Good Omens and never finished it. I never tell people though, because I don't know anyone who thought Good Omens was anything but amazing.

I love Good Omens but I'll admit that it does have bits that drag. Give the audiobook a listen, that usually speeds me through the dull parts of books.

The first time I read it, I thought it was getting boring in the middle too. I reread it, though, and since I knew the ending, a lot of the beginning made more sense and was much more fun. I wouldn't say it's the best book ever, but I really enjoyed it and will pick it up if I'm looking for something light.

Good Omens is so much better when you read it for the second time, that's so true :)

Good Omens does drag on a bit in much of the earlier pages. Personally, I was reading for Aziraphale and Crowley (and Anathema to an extent), and even some of their parts were incredibly dull.
That being said, if you found anything interesting in it at all, I think it's worth pushing through it for the ending, which was pretty brilliant.

OH GOD, I THOUGHT I WAS ALONE IN BEING BORED TO TEARS WITH GOOD OMENS. I feel like I'm missing something and I actually *love* Gaiman but that book? Not my fave.
