I think there's a difference between being inspired and fangirling. You seem to be the former. :P That's actually pretty cool and I may look into reading that article. I used to get hounded by my family because I wasn't going out every weekend like a "normal teenager" and I preferred to stay at home. They used to openly call me a hermit to my face. It was annoying and hurtful. Then I showed them all that time spent wasn't wasted and I grew up to be a pretty well adjusted person. Partying may be for some people, but it's not for everyone. You're definitely not alone. :)
