It's okay OP. I feel almost exactly this way about a certain novel (Not Coraline, I haven't read it yet.) and I know if I said to anyone in my friend's group that I don't get the hype, they'd eat me alive.

I read the thing two times through and then attempted a third time but got so bored by it that I put it down.
