So why not say that you wish those obnoxious slash shippers were gone, and not all slash? That is the part I don't understand.

I hate obnoxious slash shippers as much as you, but there are perfectly harmless ones out there.

Understand, I'm not the secret-maker OP. I'm a slash shipper myself, from time to time, I write fic of it, I read it. If I were the one making the secret, I'd be more specific in my wishes, which would be:

1: For the obnoxious, slash-or-nothing kids to get off my lawn. (They can take the obnoxious het-or-nothing kids with them, for all I care.)

2: For slash and het and all multishipping combinations thereof to get along and all have awesome fic and art and meta and for fans of all of them to live in harmony harmony, oh love.

3: A pony.

This so much. Obnoxious shippers of any kind are fucking annoying, but how does that justify wanting to ban a pretty large group of people from any fandom, just because they share some common interests with some idiots.
