Well I can understand worrying if you became friends with someone in a kink meme or something. Also I have a friend who used to participate in a certain fandom for a while. Then he pissed off a former friend of his who spent the next two years stalking him, getting his personal information and in general being a real creep.

My advice OP, just don't share anything you wouldn't want the general public to know with your fandom friends if you don't trust them enough. It's normal to want to be careful.
