Except the part where the OP said they wanted a fandom with no Slash in it. That's not wanting to enjoy what you like in peace. That's wanting the other group to not exist while acting like you're some poor oppressed minority.

What I'd love is a fandom without the douchenozzles who think that anything that isn't to their liking is the issue.

Calling out people for being assholes isn't what gets you labeled as a homophobe in fandom. Calling out only the slash fans for it will.
