(Anonymous) 2011-07-05 01:56 am (UTC)(link)Much as I hate it, the homophobe argument is probably a good thing in that it maybe stops that pendulum from swinging back to the other extreme. I don't condone the poor behavior on either side, but if there wasn't the SJ and the "anti-slash = homophobe" brigade, it would be too easy for a nastier kind of hate to happen. Hopefully there'll eventually be a nice, peaceful normalization of the whole thing.
