I suppose it's possible this might be a troll post, but really I'm kind of shocked that people are calling you arrogant. I can see Americans looking at a British person and immediately linking them to HP for no good reason. It's not your fault that crazy fans exist all over the world.

Yes, fans will be fans. As a fan of other series I should know, so it's hard for me to get offended when I read comments like the OP's.

And it doesn't surprise me that OP has an easy time scoring dates either. Maybe some of us subconsciously associate any accent that sounds remotely British to characters like James Bond, for example.
