Being Siwon's fan doesn't erase the fundamental fact of how problematic his words are. This has nothing to do with cultural relativism either: what he is saying is homophobic. period.

It really doesn't tough. Yeah, Korean culture isn't exactly gay friendly, but I don't see anyone implying otherwise.

The secret puts a quote and says it's not homophobic, and the comments are pointing out that, no, it certainly is. No one is analyzing the cultural reasoning behind it because regardless of it saying what he said is homophobic. To say "oh Korea has a culture where they think gay is a disease" is redundant. We know. But that's not what the secret is disputing.

Lol, sorry, I wasn't sure. I mostly just wanted to comment because the thought of etc being used aggravatedly as a verb cheered me up in the middle of a disheartening thread.
